SOLE BUSINESS OF THE CHURCH IS TO SAVE SOULS

WARNING:

“If you do not warn a sinner or speak out to warn him about his sin to save his soul, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, but I will hold you responsible for his blood. But if you warn the sinner but you have delivered your soul. (Ezekiel 3:18,19)

Note: Please check your maturity in Christ. It is not enough to be a follower of Jesus (Christian). Have you become a fisher of men, or seeker of lost souls or a reaper of the harvest or can you convince, convict and convert a non-believer or what contribution your church is making in taking the Gospel to the nations, tongues and tribes, etc.? This is crucial as on it depends where you end up in eternity.

1. Jesus came to seek and save lost souls. (Luke 19:10)
2. Jesus said, “There is more rejoicing in heaven over one lost soul who is saved than 99 making a joyful noise in the Church. (Luke 15:7-10)
3. Jesus said, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men (soul savers)” (Matt.4:19)
4. Jesus said, “The harvest is ready, but the soul savers are few.” (Luke.10:2)
5. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptize them, and teach them to save souls.” (Matt.28:19)
6. Jesus said, “One soul, any soul is more precious than all the wealth of the world put together.” (Matt.16:26)
7. Jesus said, “You shall go and be my witnesses to the ends of the earth and save souls.” (Acts 1:8)
8. Jesus said, “Go and save souls by opening their eyes, bring them from darkness into light and from the kingdom of Satan into the kingdom of God. (Acts 26:18)
9. Jesus said, “As the Father has sent me, so I send you to save souls.” (John 20:21)
10. Jesus gave five-fold ministry gifts to his Church to equip the saints, to be work-place4 ministers and save souls. (Eph. 4:11,12)
11. Let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. (James 5 :20)
12. God does not want any soul to perish but to come to know Jesus and be saved. (1Tim. 2:4)
13. A mature Christian is one who can engage a non- believer and save his soul. (Titus 1:9)
14. He who goes weeping (liquid prayer), bearing precious seed (Gospel), shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves (harvest of souls) with him. (Psalm 126:5)
15. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some souls. (1Cor. 9:19-22)
16. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise saves souls. (Prov. 11:30)
17. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Rom. 10:9-13)
18. Old Testament Priest offered animal sacrifice. “As priest of Lord Jesus, Paul offered saved Gentiles as living sacrifice. (Rom. 15:16)
19. Paul said, “My passion is to save souls by fully preaching the Gospel with signs and wonders, where Christ is not named” (Rom. 15:19,20)
20. You shall be judged by your fruit (Souls saved). (Matthew. 7:20)
21. Jesus said, “This is how God is glorified. When you bring abundant fruit (saved souls), then you shall be my disciple” John 15:8
22. Jesus sent 70 disciples to save souls. He said to them rejoice not because spirits are under your control but because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:1-9; 19,20
23. On the day of the Rapture, believers who slept in the Lord and those who are alive will be raised to meet the Lord in the air who will be coming in the clouds but will no touch the earth. These will be those whose names are written in the Book of Life. And these will be those who have saved lost souls. Revelation 20:12,15
24. Whether you are maintaining your daily diary here on earth or not but your diary is being written in heaven on a daily basis. So, will there be some pages where it will be written that today you caught some two-legged fish; or you sought and saved a lost sheep; or you went as a laborer and reaped spiritual harvest; or you witnessed to someone and brought him into the Kingdom; or with the help of the Holy Spirit you did some signs and miracle which resulted in lost people being saved; or you glorified God by bringing abundant fruit (saved souls); or made a disciple who is now making disciples; if there are pages like this then your name will found written in the Book of Life. But if all the pages of your diary are blank, then there can be consequences. So please evaluate yourself and take necessary steps to make sure that your name is written in the Book of Heaven so that you can spend eternity with Christ. (Matthew 7:20; Rev. 20:12-20)

25.  If you are a member of a church that does not prioritize saving of lost souls over all the other agendas of the church, nor equips you to minister where Christ is not named, then having your name in their Book will certainly help you to get a place in their graveyard but no guarantee of a place in heaven. Jesus has commanded you to get out of such a place which is preaching another Gospel. However, you do not have to join another man-made traditional church which is (edifice-centered, clergy-driven, falsely calling music and singing as worship, tithe hungry, institutional church). Either you find a simple house church (that makes disciples, breaks bread from house to house and multiplies organically like any household) or better still convert your Cottage meeting into a Household of God by inviting seekers of other faiths. Jesus has promised, “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am present there” (2Cor. 6:16,17; Gal. 1:8,9; Eph. 2:19,20; Matt. 18:18-20)

26. And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some (soul winners) to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2
27. Then the wise ones (soul savers) whose name is found written in the Book of the Lamb, will be delivered, will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who saved many souls, like the stars forever and ever. (Dan 12:1-3)

Shalom,
V.
