Focus
- A House of Peace in Every Human Habitation
1.
“God visited the Gentiles to take out a people
for His name.” This shows where God’s heart is. Hence translating pagans from Lucifer’s
kingdom into God’s Kingdom must remain the core agenda of the church. Acts
15:14-17
2.
Yeshua came with one point
agenda; to fulfil God’s vision that “none should perish.” He came to
seek and save the lost. If you are a follower of Yeshua, better follow his
example and save the perishing. Luke 19: 10; 2 Peter 3:9
3.
God commanded his people, “In
whatever city I have caused you to be captive, intercede for it, for in its shalom
(peace) you will have Shalom.” Better
saturate your city with prayer by praying on site. Jeremiah 29:7; 1Tim. 2:8
4.
God said, “My House will be
called a House of Sacrifice.” As priests of Yeshua; Peter, Paul and Philip,
offered thousands of sanctified Jews and Gentiles, as living sacrifice. 2 Chron. 7:12; Romans 15:16; Acts 8:12; 21:20
5.
Yeshua said, “My House will
be a House of prayer for Gentiles.” Church is where people of other faiths
come to be prayed for healing and deliverance. Anything else, is a den of
thieves. Isaiah 56:7; Mark 11:17; Acts 2:43; 4: 29,30
6.
Yeshua said, “Where 2/3 gather
in My Name I am present there.” Thousands of believers left the Temple and gathered
in small groups in their homes. They had apostolic teaching, food fellowship,
prayer and miracles. They cheerfully put their offerings at the Apostles’ feet,
to reap the harvest. Matt. 18:20. Acts 2:42,46; 4:35; 2 Cor. 9:6,7
7.
Yeshua unfolded
the whole process from evangelism to becoming inheritors of the Kingdom, “To
open lost people’s eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from
the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an
inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.” Acts 26:17,18
8.
Master Yeshua said, “There
is a great rejoicing in heaven when one sinner repents, rather than ninety-nine
“chosen and frozen” generation making a joyful noise in the church.” Luke
15:7,10, James 5:20
9.
Yeshua never preached from the
same pulpit twice. When some people wanted Yeshua to settle down at their place,
He said to his disciples, “Let us go to other villages and cities to preach
the kingdom of God, because I have been sent for this very purpose.” Take
away the Sunday service, the pulpit, the pews and the collection plate and the
church will still be there, because we are the temples of the Living God. Mark 1:38,
Luke 4:43; 2 Cor. 6:16.
10.
Lord Yeshua said, “The
harvest is ready but the laborers are few, therefore pray to the Lord of the
harvest to send forth harvesters.” He sent 12 disciples 2X2 who went and multiplied
70 more disciples. He sent the 70 also 2X2 to repeat the same. This little
church, like the little leaven, can leaven and transform the entire pagan lump.
God told Moses to stop praying and get moving. Matt. 13:33, Luke 10:1,2; John
4:35; Exodus 14:15
11.
Just before his ascension to heaven,
Yeshua promised his disciples that he will empower them with Holy Spirit and
commission them to be his witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria
and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
12.
There are 2.5 million villages
and 4000 cities in the world. India has 640,000 village, 400,000 slums and 500
cities.
13.
There are over 2 billion
Christians, 34,000 denominations and 35 million churches worldwide. India has
50 million Christians. Most Christians are non-performing assets that will not
make it to the “Remnant Church.” 2 Tim. 2:8
14.
Sadly, despite so many churches,
thousands of villages and slums do not have a House of Peace, where hurting
people can have an encounter with Yeshua. There they can receive health,
healing, wholeness and be discipled into the Kingdom. All that the Old
Wineskins needs is an injection of missional DNA. Romans 10:9,10; 13-17
15.
Paul did not preach with empty
words, but with mighty signs and miracles, all the way from Jerusalem to Illyricum
(2000 Km), and now there is no place left for him to preach. His heart’s
desire and passion was, “to preach the gospel, where Christ has
not been named.” Check out where your focus and passion is? Rom. 15:19,20,23.
16.
What you do on Sunday in the
church is religion (ligare= bondage).
What you do during the week days in the harvest field, is worship. The primary
function of the church is to equip you in apologetics to fruitfully engage with
the people of other faiths, convicting them into the Kingdom. Eph. 4:11-13;
Titus 1:9; 1 Peter 3:15; 2 Timothy 4:2
17.
Every believer, even Muslims,
know that Yeshua is coming soon as righteous Judge. He will judge us by our
fruitfulness; “By their fruits you shall know them.” Fruitless branches
will be cut off and thrown in to fire while those who brought abundant fruit
will be raptured. Matt. 7:20; John 15:1-8, 16; Rev. 3:16, 20:4; 1 Peter 4:17-19
18.
Yeshua bought you with His
precious blood and ordained you to be Priests and Kings. If you fail to
function as Royal Priests, then His blood sacrifice for you will prove to be a
waste. Shun churches where you are subjected to Sunday pep talks, rather opt
for interactive “Training for Reigning.” Rev. 1:6.5:9,10. 1 Pet. 2:9; 2 Tim. 2:2
19.
Yeshua warned that calling Lord,
Lord or your Bible knowledge, or righteousness, or even healing and deliverance
ministry, will not give you a passport to heaven, unless you bring them to
repentance and turn them into fruitful disciples. Our righteousness is like
dirty rags. Matt. 7:16-23; Luke 15:7-10; James 5:20; Isaiah 64:6; John 15:16.
20.
If you haven’t caught any
two-legged lost fish yet, then gather 2/3 believers to make a “Fishermen’s club.”
Adopt a village, ghetto or a human habitation, find a “Person of Peace” and ignite
a citywide prayer movement. The Triplet church is the most cost-effective strategy
for a healthy growth of the Kingdom. Matt. 4:19; 18:20
21.
The best way to find a man or
woman of peace is to go for early morning prayer walk, demolishing the religious,
cultural, or societal strongholds. The man/woman of peace will welcome you in
his/her house. There you will have food fellowship, apostolic teaching, prayer,
signs and wonders. A disciple is someone who multiplies disciples and is
willing to pay the price for it. Mathew 12:28-30; Luke 10:1-10, 14:27,33, Acts 2:42-47,
John 15: 8; Rv. 3:20
22.
Equip local leadership and then
move on to another place and do the same. The early Church grew in faith and
multiplied daily in numbers – both in quality and quantity. If this Christ-centered
and Gentile-focused method is implemented, then soon and very soon, there will
be no place left where Christ is not named. Acts 16:5; 2:46,47.
23.
Yeshua planted the first house church
2000 years ago. He invited two disciples of John to his house. He taught them
and then sent them out into the hostile world. They immediately started
multiplying disciples. John 1:35-46
24.
If you do not obey the Lord’s
command to fulfil The Great Commission, “Go and disciples of all nations,”
it will make no difference to him, but you may be blotted out from the Book of Life
and that will make a huge difference to you, as to where you end up in
eternity. The Lord will send forth his angels to reap the harvest and what
remains will be reaped by himself, as he is coming with a sharp sickle in his
hand. Math. 13:39-41; 28:18-20; Rev. 14:14-15
25.
Three times a year, Israel brought
tithe of their harvest to Jerusalem Temple and offered it as Thanksgiving.
During the Pentecost, Peter offered 3000 souls as living sacrifice. Pentecost
is the Birthday of the church. In the OT, they worshipped God by offering dead
animals. In the New Testament, we worship God, not by singing endless songs,
but by offering broken and contrite hearts, as living sacrifice. Exo. 29:42;
Acts 2:41; Romans 15:16; Psalm 51:17
26.
Your Goal : Every village, city and indeed every human habitation be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God
as the water covers the sea. God desires that none should perish but from every
tongue and tribe, saved people must enter the millennial reign of the King of
kings and Lord of lords. Hab. 2:14; 2
Peter 3:9; Rev. 7: 9,10; 20:1-3
Action Plan:
