  1. Sunday: is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. Emperor Constantine of Rome, a hybrid sun and Jesus worshipper, started the Sunday service in A.D. 322
  2. Church Building: Again Constantine was the first one to build a cathedral in Rome. The Scripture says, “God does not live in houses made with human hands… He lives in houses made with his own hands (human heart)” Acts 7:48,49; 2 Cor. 6:16
  3. Pastor in Charge: There is no provision for a pastor to be in charge of a congregation. Yeshiya (Jesus) gave fivefold ministry gifted elders like the apostles, prophets, evangelists and teachers to equip the saints to be workplace ministers to edify the Body of Christ. Eph. 4:11,12
  4. Pulpit: There is no provision for a pulpit in the NT ecclesia. Yeshiya used the pulpit (Bima for keeping the heavy scroll) at the synagogue in Nazareth only once and gave the shortest one-line sermon, (“Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your ears.”) That sermon was so power packed that it nearly got him lynched.   5. Tithe: There is no provision for tithing for church maintenance in the NT. We are to give freewill offering specifically for reaping the harvest and to take care of the needy. 2Cor.9:6,7; Acts 20:34,35
  6. The church: You go to is probably a den of thieves because Yeshiya defined his ecclesia as, “A house of prayer for all nations.” Your real church is where you work because many nations are represented there and you are accountable for them. Mark 11:17; Ezekiel 3:18

  Dear B, My first journey back in mid-sixties to Ireland was a memorable one. I went by train from London to Hollyhead which reached there about 2 AM. To my utter dismay all the Irish men started running to the waiting ferry. Being an Indian and running to get a seat in the train was quite normal thing for me. So I thought may be there are not enough seats so I also ran only to find  that most of the seats empty and I could comfortably stretch out. STRUCTURING A GREAT COMMISSION TRAINING PROGRAM

  1. Objective:  Clearly define the objective of the training. Jesus defined it clearly when he said to his disciples, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men". So the objective of our training is not to train theologians to become aquarium keepers (Pastors) but to equip followers of Christ into prolific fishers of men or disciplers who birth more disciple makers or sowers of the seed who reproduce more sowers of the seed or seekers of the lost sheep who find more seekers of the lost sheep. 2. Content:  Based on the above objective, the content must resonate with it. F ocus on the Great Commission as the core of the core and carefully choose topics that help fulfill it.  We must resist the temptation to add on interesting topics that are informative but do not have immediate bearing on the objective unless it is a completely new group in which case you might have to do some vision casting . Jesus' 5 Major paradigm shifts from OT to NT

1.   Buildings: Jesus shifted the holy temple from a stone building to human heart (1 Cor. 3:16). For 300 years the NT church functioned in the homes of the people without any specifically constructed sacred buildings and grew exponentially until Constantine built the first cathedral in Rome.   Our Response: Build more buildings. Brick an mortar has done more harm to church growth and multiplication than anything else. Every dollar spent on building sends someone to hell.
