Healthy Church [....REVISED....]

Has following ingredients based on Acts 2:21, 37-47; Acts 6:1,7; Acts 9:31; Acts 16:5 
1.      Witnessing to the lost with salvation message, “Call on the name of the Lord and you shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).
2.      Conviction is the work of the Holy Spirit, “Our hearts are pricked! What shall we do?” (Acts 2:37). 
3.      Repentance (Acts 2:37,38)
4.      Baptism of 3000 families, (Acts 2:38,41)
5.      Empowerment with H/S for the transformation of the family and friends. (Acts 2:39)
6.      Apostolic teaching “Go make disciples” (Acts 2:37,41, 42)
7.      Purpose driven Fellowship - Koinonia (Acts 2:42)
8.      Kingdom Prayer “That none may perish” (Acts 2:42)
9.      Signs and miracles (Acts 2:43)
10.  Generous giving (Acts 2:44, 45)
11.  Going out fishing lost souls, first at the temple and later on to Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth. (Acts 2:46)
12.  Breaking bread from house to house (Holy Communion). (Acts 2:46)
13. Multiplication of new believers. “And the Lord added to the church daily. (Acts 2:47)
14. Multiplication of disciples (Acts 6:1,7)
15. Multiplication of churches (Acts 9:31)
16. Churches growing deep and wide"churches grew daily in strength and in numbers "(Acts 16:5)
17. Healthy and reproducing...Sending church (Acts 13:1-3) 


Please check what items are missing in your church and take steps to rectify them..
So you can have a healthy, reproducing Bride!!!

  Dear B, My first journey back in mid-sixties to Ireland was a memorable one. I went by train from London to Hollyhead which reached there about 2 AM. To my utter dismay all the Irish men started running to the waiting ferry. Being an Indian and running to get a seat in the train was quite normal thing for me. So I thought may be there are not enough seats so I also ran only to find  that most of the seats empty and I could comfortably stretch out. Jesus' 5 Major paradigm shifts from OT to NT

1.   Buildings: Jesus shifted the holy temple from a stone building to human heart (1 Cor. 3:16). For 300 years the NT church functioned in the homes of the people without any specifically constructed sacred buildings and grew exponentially until Constantine built the first cathedral in Rome.   Our Response: Build more buildings. Brick an mortar has done more harm to church growth and multiplication than anything else. Every dollar spent on building sends someone to hell. Every 4 seconds someone dies in India without hearing the gospel and goes to hell.  Remember: God does not live in buildings made with human hands. (Acts 7:48,49) 2. STRUCTURING A GREAT COMMISSION TRAINING PROGRAM

  1. Objective:  Clearly define the objective of the training. Jesus defined it clearly when he said to his disciples, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men". So the objective of our training is not to train theologians to become aquarium keepers (Pastors) but to equip followers of Christ into prolific fishers of men or disciplers who birth more disciple makers or sowers of the seed who reproduce more sowers of the seed or seekers of the lost sheep who find more seekers of the lost sheep. 2. Content:  Based on the above objective, the content must resonate with it. F ocus on the Great Commission as the core of the core and carefully choose topics that help fulfill it.  We must resist the temptation to add on interesting topics that are informative but do not have immediate bearing on the objective unless it is a completely new group in which case you might have to do some vision casting .
