Letter from Wolfgang Simson: Kenya/Uganda etc: Africa, as I see it from my recent visits, is more poised to be open for a true  Kingdom restart than probably anywhere else. They love a good king, while Indians are still to  much into a dysfunctional democracy, both politically and in church. When the government of Rwanda suddenly closed down most church buildings (about 8.000 at least),  this created two commotions:; 1) The pastors ran havoc because their sacred space was suddenly gone; 2) The people became activated out of necessity. Remember China. I think that even in India we may see history repeat itself. I see that most Christians in India pray for a removal of the current government they see as repressive of "foreign religion". However, many senior elders in China "thank God for Mao", as he helped remove the constricting shackles of imported white-mabns religion and removed the three top-tiers of hierarchical church systems. Mao ...
TRAINING OF CHILDREN IN DISCIPLING: I once visited a Sapera (snake charmers) colony. There was this baby crawling outside the tent playing with a defanged cobra. The baby thought it was a toy. I asked them when do you teach them to catch a live poisonous one. Just then a man arrived with a freshly caught live cobra in a bamboo basket from the nearby forest.  He just opened the lid and the snake started slithering away. He asked a young boy (must be around 6-7 years of age) to go and get it. The boy ran and picked it by the tail and brought it back and put it back in the basket.  I was simply amazed. But one thing did learn, do not think that your kids are too young to learn discipling, not just the theory of it but also the skills. So, I do not throw out kids from our household gatherings unless they are causing too much distraction. In fact, when we "Break Bread" (The Lord's Supper), like Yeshua in the Jewish tradition (Deut 6:2,3) made young John to sit nex...

Our Christian Response to Revenge

Our Christian Response to Revenge: After the recent gruesome bomb blast by militants in Kashmir when bodies of nearly 50 soldiers were blown up in smithereens, plus many others were seriously injured, the whole country is baying for revenge. Anyone not doing so, is immediately labelled as anti-national. While many Christians and churches are praying for the families of the martyrs, what should be our Christian response: Scripture clearly instructs us , do not take revenge, but instead let God's anger do it. "I will take revenge, I will pay back, says the Lord. Therefore, if your enemy hungers, feed him. If he thirsts, give him drink. For in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head.   Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:19-21) Like it or not, we need to love the militants and pray for them that their spiritual blindness may be removed, and they may come to the saving knowledge of TRUTH (Jesus). Matt. 5:44; Acts 26:18; 1Tim. 2...

PERSECUTION

PERSECUTION LB wrote this on the 19 th of Dec. 2018 Please read this article regarding the persecution of Christians in China and mobilize fervent focus prayer for them, especially those pastors who have signed a document declaring their steadfast faith in Yeshua Christ and be praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ in North Korea. “This time, the government shut down a church in Chengdu and arrested many members of the church. Some of the members were taken away to the station  from their homes  including children. Pastor Wang, the senior pastor, is still missing and his wife is under house arrest for inciting subversion.”  My response below. Dear LB, Interestingly a similar thing happened recently here in India in Jaunpur UP. The Hindu nationalist state government cracked down on a regular gathering on an open ground where around 4/5000 believers met to worship on Sundays. The pastor and few others had been taken into police custody. Any beli...

TITHING

The tithe is manipulated and misused all over the world. Torah mentions three types of giving- 1. Temples tax. Half a shekel for everyone rich or poor. The Jewish Priests were exempted.  When tax collectors came to Yeshua, he asked them does a Prince gives taxes. Nevertheless, to fulfill all formalities he sent Peter with fishing rod. Peter caught a fish with a coin stuck in its mouth and gave it to the temple tax collectors. Exodus 30:13–16 . Matt. 17: 24-27  2. Tithe: Tithe was not gold or silver or cash. It was food. Only those who were landowners gave tithe out of their produce. They gave animals, grains. first fruits, oil, wine etc.as tithe.   After slaughtering the animal and smearing the blood on the four horns of the altar and offering the head and the fat with the organs like liver and heart etc. the priests would waive the animal around on top of the altar of fire and gave it back to the devotee keeping one leg for himself. The devotee would t...

Spring feasts

Mighty men and women of God, The Spring Feasts of the Lord came to an end today. They included the Passover, the Unleavened Bread, the First-fruits and the Pentecost. These were prophetic shadows. Yeshua Messiah came and fulfilled all of them. He became the Passover Lamb. He became the first-fruit by defying death and resurrecting from the dead. He changed the Pentecost, which was a harvest feast of offering animals, grains, wine, fruits and oil etc.  into harvest of souls. This day, 3000 souls were harvested from the Jews, who left the Temple and started meeting in home churches. Yeshua’s earthly ministry lasted from the day of his baptism beyond the Jordan with the Holy Spirit descending on him like a dove, to the same descending on his disciples on the day of Pentecost. These were all accomplished in 70 weeks (Daniel 9:24) and not in 3.5 years (which most Christians believe without any Scriptural or historical evidence to prove.) Thus, on this day the church was born....

Pentecost 4 June 2017 (English)

Pentecost 4 June 2017 Focus - A House of Peace in Every Human Habitation 1.        “ God visited the Gentiles to take out a people for His name . ” This shows where God’s heart is. Hence translating pagans from Lucifer’s kingdom into God’s Kingdom must remain the core agenda of the church. Acts 15:14-17 2.        Yeshua came with one point agenda; to fulfil God’s vision that “ none should perish .” He came to seek and save the lost. If you are a follower of Yeshua, better follow his example and save the perishing. Luke 19: 10; 2 Peter 3:9 3.        God commanded his people, “ In whatever city I have caused you to be captive, intercede for it, for in its shalom (peace) you will have Shalom.”  Better saturate your city with prayer by praying on site. Jeremiah 29:7; 1Tim. 2:8 4.        God said, “ My House will be called a House of Sacrifice.” A...
